I like the idea of Johnny Cash as Heavenly Father and “The Killer” (as Jerry Lee was known) as the Holy Ghost. That of course makes Elvis my rockabilly Jesus. One of the very first 45 rpm singles I ever bought was his “Burnin’ Love.” Is there a better way to describe the savior’s sacrifice for humanity? “A hunka hunka burnin’ love.” So I have my trinity: The Man in Black, the Killer, and the King.
